How to Measure:
1. Shoulder
Measure from the outer edge of the left shoulder seam straight across to the outer edge of the right shoulder seam. The tape should run horizontally across the top of the back.
2. Chest (Full Circumference)
Measure straight across the chest from one underarm seam to the other (the "Pit-to-Pit" width). Multiply this number by 2 to get the full chest circumference shown in the table.
3. Waist (Full Circumference)
Identify the narrowest part of the shirt's torso (usually at the level of the 4th or 5th button). Measure straight across from side seam to side seam and multiply by 2.
4. Length
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the collar meets the shoulder seam) straight down to the very bottom of the front hem.
5. Sleeve
Measure from the center back neck and measure down shoulder, down sleeve to hem.
6. Neck
Measure around the neck across the adams apple and place two fingers between the measuring tape and neck.

💡 Fit & Body Type Tips
-
The "Button Test": For the Chest and Waist, the garment measurement should be 3–5 inches larger than your actual body measurement. If the difference is less than 2 inches, the buttons will likely pull when you sit or move.
-
Shoulder Alignment: The shoulder measurement is the most critical for a "sharp" look. If the shirt's shoulder width is wider than your actual shoulders, the seam will droop, making the shirt look too large.
-
Sleeve Length: This table uses a "Shoulder-to-Cuff" measurement. If you have particularly broad shoulders, you might find that you need a slightly shorter sleeve than someone with narrow shoulders, even if your arm length is the same.
-
Shrinkage: If the shirt is 100% cotton, it may shrink by about 1–2% after the first few washes. If you are exactly between two sizes, it's safer to size up.
