Lavabo Sets | Silver Plated Finish | H-158-N

From the earliest centuries of the Church, the washing of hands has been a sign of interior purity before approaching the altar. Our lavabo sets honor that tradition with craftsmanship worthy of the sanctuary.

Each ewer and basin set is made in Europe by skilled artisans and is available in solid brass, gold plate or silver plate to complement your existing altar furnishings and sacred vessels. The ewer pours smoothly and with control, and the basin is generously proportioned to catch every drop, so the rite stays reverent and unhurried.

These sets are well suited to the priest's lavabo at the Preparation of the Gifts. They are also used as a bishop's ewer and basin for the ceremonial washing of hands before vesting and during pontifical celebrations. Their dignified design looks just as fitting on a credence table in a parish church as in a cathedral sanctuary.
