This chalice is an exquisite reproduction of the original VIII century Tassilo chalice. The design and style of the figures present on our chalice are sensibly more refined and symmetrical than those of the original, of a more primitive design. The figures represented on the base are The Blessed Mother, Saint Paul of Tarsus , St. John the Baptist and Saint Theodore while the ones on the cup are The Pantocrator and the Four Evangelists with their symbols. Matching Ciboria, open Ciboria, cruets set and monstrance available.
